Job Title

  • Registered Nurse (ICU) - Critical Care Float Pool

Location

  • Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type

  • Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide critical care nursing in various ICU settings, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU, Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, MICU, and NCCU.
  • Float between units based on staffing needs, patient acuity, and unit policies.
  • Administer medications, monitor patient vitals, and manage ventilators and IVs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and clinical protocols.
  • Document patient care accurately in EPIC electronic health record system.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years ICU experience.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
  • Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system.
  • Comfort with IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management.
  • Valid compact or state nursing license for Ohio.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience working in multiple ICU specialties.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different ICU environments.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
