Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shift, 10.5-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex perioperative nursing care in the operating room setting
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately
• Assess educational needs of patients and families, delivering appropriate education and support
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in New Mexico or a Compact state license
• BLS certification via the American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS certification via the American Heart Association (AHA)
• At least 1 year of experience in an operating room or related clinical setting preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in perioperative nursing or surgical care preferred
