Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

• Burlington, NC

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, temporary, nights, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs during labor and postpartum.
• Administer medications and support natural and assisted deliveries.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records.
• Adhere to facility protocols, including compliance and safety regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Labor and Delivery.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Ability to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam prior to start.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends as scheduled.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in a hospital delivering 100-200 births per month.
• Familiarity with L&D, LDRP, and Low-Risk maternity units.
• Prior experience with Chare RN or similar roles.
