Ultrasound Sonographer (Echo/Cardiac Sonographer)

Full-time, on-site, day shift (4x10-hour days)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures, including 2D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, and imaging with contrast agents.
- Utilize Philips, EPIC, and Syngo systems to acquire and analyze diagnostic images.
- Calculate diastology, LV strain, LV volume, and PISA for comprehensive cardiac assessment.
- Float to various Cone Health facilities as needed to support clinical operations.
- Adhere to compliance and documentation protocols to ensure accurate and complete patient records.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration as a cardiac sonographer (ARDMS RDCS, AE, or CCI RCS).
- Valid license in hand for the state of North Carolina.
- BLS certification.
- Experience with Philips imaging systems, EPIC, and Syngo platforms.
- Proficiency in performing and analyzing 2D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, and contrast imaging.
- Ability to perform calculations related to diastology, LV strain, and LV volume.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a hospital or vascular imaging environment.
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system.
- Experience with advanced echocardiography techniques and patient positioning.

Additional Notes:
Candidates must complete a full compliance file by 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to the start date. Education verification and background checks are required, with no open cases accepted. Local candidates within 50 miles must submit a current driver’s license for address verification. Prior to submission, ensure the candidate is aware of and prepared for the EKG pass/fail testing.
Travel may be required to support multiple facilities as needed.
