Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - PCU/Stepdown (Float Pool)

• Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shift (3x12 hours per week, 19:00 - 07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the PCU, stepdown units, and potentially other hospital units within the system.
• Float to various units including other campuses as needed, maintaining flexibility across different acuity levels.
• Adhere to patient ratios and safety protocols while delivering high-quality clinical care.
• Perform clinical skills such as IV starts, telehealth, and other essential nursing duties.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and travel credentialing requirements.
• Complete fingerprinting and credentialing processes promptly to avoid scheduling delays.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio or compact state nursing license in hand at time of submission.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with IV starts and telehealth preferred.
• Ability to meet strict travel compliance deadlines, including fingerprinting.
• Strong communication skills and flexibility to float across units.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a high-acuity stepdown or PCU environment.
• Experience working in a hospital that requires credentialing and fingerprinting processes.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different unit protocols and workflows.
