Registered Nurse Telemetry

Job Title

• Travel Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry (7P-7A)

Location

• Alexandria, LA

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment, Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.
• Monitor patient vitals and responses, documenting all observations accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during night shift hours.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Louisiana.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
• Ability to work a night shift schedule.
• Excellent communication and clinical skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a hospital setting.
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring systems.
• Strong team collaboration skills.
