Job Title

• Respiratory Therapist – NICU

Location

• Miami, FL

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment, Days shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced respiratory care, treatment, and evaluation for neonatal and pediatric patients in a Level III NICU.
• Utilize high-flow devices, ventilators, nebulizers, and other respiratory equipment to deliver patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Document patient care and procedures accurately in the medical documentation system.
• Support and float to other adult hospital units as needed for respiratory therapies.

Required Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist licensure.
• BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• At least 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience.
• Experience with Meditech documentation system (preferred).
• NICU or PICU experience highly preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in NICU or Pediatric ICU settings.
• Proficiency with advanced respiratory technologies and procedures.
• Strong critical thinking and patient care skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
