Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Title
• Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER)

Location
• Dallas, TX

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, travel assignment
• Nights shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
• 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a high-acuity ER setting.
• Perform assessments, administer treatments, and collaborate with medical teams.
• Document patient information accurately using Meditech system.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including dress code and infection control protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during emergency interventions.
• Follow floating and attendance policies as specified by the facility.

Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license (active, no temporary licenses).
• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience.
• 2+ years of specialty experience in emergency care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• NIH certification required.
• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience working in a hospital ER environment.
• Familiarity with hospital floating policies.
• Strong documentation and clinical skills in high-pressure situations.
