Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Days, 1 shift per week, includes on-call duties
Key Responsibilities
- Provide pre-operative and post-anesthesia care to surgical patients
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to clinical needs during recovery
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Document patient assessments, procedures, and outcomes accurately
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Vermont or ability to obtain
- Experience in pre-operative or post-anesthesia care preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability for on-call shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous OR or PACU experience preferred
- Familiarity with rural hospital settings advantageous
