Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, day shifts, 8.5 hours per shift, Monday through Friday with additional weekend coverage as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients
- Provide therapies and interventions to support patient recovery and independence
- Document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapists
- Support patient engagement and ensure a safe, supportive environment during therapy sessions
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Required Qualifications
- Current certification or license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Ability to work weekday shifts and help on weekends as necessary
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans and support therapeutic activities
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a clinical or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and patient care standards
- Bilingual abilities or additional language skills are a plus
