Job Title

• IR/Special Procedures Technician

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Full-time, 13-week assignment, dayshift (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in specialized procedures within Cath Lab and Special Procedures units, including cardiac catheterizations, cerebrovascular angiograms, stent placements, balloons, and ENT lab scrubbing.
• Operate GE imaging equipment and assist with complex interventional radiology procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during high-acuity procedures with a patient ratio of 1:1.
• Follow unit protocols, ensure proper equipment setup, and adhere to clinical standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment requiring flexibility and critical thinking.

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Competence in Special Procedures and GE Innova systems.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in interventional radiology or special procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• RCIS certification.
• Experience with cardiac catheterization, cerebral angiograms, stent placement, and balloon procedures.
• Ability to thrive in team-oriented, high-pressure settings and adapt to on-call rotations.
