Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient speech therapy services to adult patients
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Comply with Medicare, Medicaid, and relevant government regulations
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State licensure as a Speech Therapist in Georgia
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA CCC)
- Currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 15-18 months of recent outpatient speech therapy experience
- Prior work with adult patient populations in medical settings
- Familiarity with medical and insurance documentation processes
