Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shift, 13-week travel assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a pain management setting, focusing on pain procedures, preoperative, operative, and post-operative care.
• Administer pain procedure injections in the OR setting following established protocols.
• Assess patient condition, document history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about treatments, procedures, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans for patients with complex needs.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatments, managing side effects and adjusting care as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in New Mexico or a Compact state.
• BLS certification via AHA.
• Experience in pain management, pre-op, OR, or PACU preferred.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in a related specialty.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience performing pain procedures in a clinical or surgical setting.
• Knowledge of pain management protocols and patient care in an OR environment.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
