Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location

• Lake Isabella, CA

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Nights (12-hour shifts), 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in an emergency department setting with minimal supervision
• Triage patients rapidly, accurately, and safely
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient status
• Cross-train in other nursing departments as needed
• Utilize Electronic Medical Records systems to document care

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Ability to pass nursing medication knowledge test
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
• Good interpersonal skills to interface professionally with patients and staff
• Basic computer literacy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2+ years of recent ER experience
• Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records systems, such as T-System and CPSI
• Willing to float to Medical Surgical units when needed
