Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy evaluations and treatments primarily in outpatient settings, with a focus on orthopedic and neurological conditions.
- Manage 8-12 patients per day, typically in 30 to 45-minute sessions.
- Cover outpatient services predominantly, with occasional inpatient evaluations (less than 10%), including acute care and swing bed.
- Follow established protocols and collaborate with rehab aides and supervisors to ensure quality patient care.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Adhere to facility dress code and scheduling requirements, including minimal weekend work and no holiday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a certified physical therapy program.
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have or be eligible for WI state licensure.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in outpatient orthopedic or neurological rehab.
- Experience with acute care and inpatient evaluations.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
