Job Title

• Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT)/Clinical Lab Scientist

Location

• Bethel, AK

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, on-site, 4 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests in chemistry, blood bank, hematology, and microbiology
• Conduct quality control procedures and laboratory instrumentation calibration
• Communicate results effectively with physicians, nurses, and patients
• Work independently and provide guidance to Medical Laboratory Assistants
• Ensure compliance with immunization and credentialing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field
• Board eligible by NCA or ASCP, with certification completed within one year of employment
• 1-3 years of relevant laboratory experience in clinical chemistry, hematology, microbiology, or blood banking
• Certification as MT by ASCP or CLS by NCA within one year of hire
• Knowledge of clinical laboratory instrumentation and generalist skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working independently in a clinical laboratory
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide direction to staff
• Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and regulatory compliance
