Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

• Full-time, 3x12-hour shifts (Days or Nights; rotating shifts may be required)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a specialized hospital unit focused on intermediate and stepdown care.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, ECG rhythms, and implement appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and execute individualized patient care plans.
• Document patient statuses and interventions accurately within electronic health record systems.
• Float to multiple units including J1-2, J33, and ED as needed to support operational needs.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and maintain certification requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio RN license or compact license in a qualifying state.
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in a stepdown or similar specialty.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Recent ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments (must pass during orientation).
• Ability to work at least every other holiday.
• Flexibility to rotate shifts (7am-7:30pm and 7pm-7:30am).
• Valid 10-panel drug screen (nicotine-free for non-nurses), background check, and fingerprints completed within 48 hours of contract signing.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in PCU or progressive care units.
• Travel experience in a hospital setting.
