Registered Nurse Wound Care

Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days, 5x8 hours shifts (07:30 AM - 04:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized wound care nursing services to patients within a hospital setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement wound management plans.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic health records (Epic).
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, including on-call duties as required.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure patient safety standards.
• Support patient education and wound healing processes.

Required Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina RN license (or pending application with proof of application).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent wound care nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Wound ostomy continence nurse (WOCN) certification (continence certification not required).
• Experience in pediatrics is highly preferred.
• Radiation badge is not required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a teaching or Level I trauma hospital.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic charting system.
• Ability to float within scope to similar units and facilities.
