Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts (12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency room patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Read and interpret patient rhythms, passing hospital proctored tests with accuracy
• Utilize electronic charting systems, including EPIC, and medication systems such as Omnicell
• Float within various hospital units as needed based on skill set and staffing requirements
• Ensure compliance with all hospital safety and operational protocols, including flu vaccinations and certifications

Required Qualifications

• NY State Registered Nurse license in hand
• Minimum of 2 years’ current ER experience (preferred 5+)
• BLS, PALS, NIH certifications
• Ability to read rhythms accurately and pass hospital rhythm identification test with >80% accuracy
• EPIC charting experience and familiarity with Omnicell medication systems
• Willingness to float as needed and comply with local radius rules (50 miles)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• Experience in Level 1 trauma or triage
• Experience with telemetry and critical rhythm identification
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
