Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed occupational therapists in implementing patient treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to help patients develop, recover, and improve their daily living skills
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with team members
- Support patients through therapeutic activities to enhance their independence
- Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment
Required Qualifications
- Current certification or license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Good understanding of therapy practices and patient care techniques
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and follow treatment protocols
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
