Job Title
• Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical/Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 nights per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with a variety of cancer diagnoses within a medical-surgical/telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data to ensure patient safety and early detection of complications
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans throughout the cancer journey, from diagnosis to end-of-life care
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols and patient safety standards, including fall prevention
• Document patient care accurately using electronic medical record systems, primarily EPIC
• Support patient transition through different stages of treatment and recovery

Required Qualifications
• Active compact or state nursing license in Ohio or eligible for licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a MedSurg or Oncology setting
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
• BLS certification required; ONS Chemo certification preferred
• Strong telemetry interpretation and monitoring skills

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Familiarity with oncology-specific procedures and patient care
• Ability to float to other MedSurg Oncology units as needed
• Experience with computerized charting, particularly EPIC

Additional Notes
• All candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing, with strict compliance deadlines.
• Must secure RTO approval with submission and include it in the contract.

• Candidates outside Ohio must be prepared to drive to fingerprinting locations; those at greater distances will be mailed fingerprinting packets.
