Job Title
- Nuclear Medicine/PET Technician
Location
- Mission Viejo, CA
Schedule / Job Type
- Day shifts, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (4x10s or 5x8s preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform PET and nuclear medicine imaging procedures, primarily focusing on PET scans
- Float between PET and nuclear medicine departments as needed, ensuring coverage for both specialties
- Adhere to department protocols and maintain accurate documentation within Epic and Siemens systems
- Communicate effectively with team members, including call responsibilities, which may include weekends and holidays
- Comply with all hospital and safety guidelines, including local and facility-specific policies
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification with a valid California license
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 6 months of PET experience and 1 year of nuclear medicine experience, including required NM certifications
- Ability to work variable start times between 0700-0900 and work call shifts as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Epic electronic medical record system experience
- Siemens equipment experience
- Previous work within acute care hospital settings, preferably in magnet-recognized facilities
