Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced critical care to patients experiencing severe medical conditions such as heart attacks, strokes, trauma, or respiratory distress.
• Assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans, and administer treatments including IV fluids, medications, wound care, and advanced life support.
• Operate and troubleshoot ventilators, monitors, and other medical equipment; adjust settings as needed.
• Collaborate with the critical care team and assist physicians during procedures.
• Observe and record vital signs; respond swiftly to life-saving situations following nursing protocols.
• Support patient families with education and emotional care.
• May care for pre- and post-operative patients, and perform administrative or case management duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years recent RN ICU experience in an Acute Care or LTAC setting.
• Vent & trach, wound care, and central line experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association; certifications must be attached.
• Valid Texas or multi-state RN license; license must be attached.
• Ability to float to lower acuity units based on census.
• Experience with ventilators, tracheostomy care, and patient monitoring.
• Candidate must be able to start within 2 weeks of offer.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a hospital setting with high-acuity patients.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.

Additional Details

• Number of Positions: 2
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour days, 3 shifts per week
• Duration: 13 weeks, with a projected start date of 06/08/2026
• Facility: Webster, TX at 350 Blossom Street
• Rate: $105/hour (non-CA)
