Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment.
• Assess patient conditions, prioritize care, and administer treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changing needs.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient information and treatments.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
• At least one year of experience in emergency or acute care settings.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous ER or trauma nursing experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
