Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Title
• Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Location
• Aberdeen, WA

Schedule / Job Type
• 13-week contract, dayshift, full-time, 36 hours/week, 12-hour shifts, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Provide emergency nursing care in a busy ER environment during dayshift hours (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, training, and certification requirements
• Document patient interactions and treatments accurately using Meditech (knowledge of Meditech helpful but not required)
• Maintain up-to-date certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Participate in pre-approved RTO and fully commit to scheduled shifts and potential additional hours

Required Qualifications
• Active Washington State license or multi-state license with verified demographics from Nursys
• Approved 6-hour suicide training
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Experience as an Emergency Department nurse with knowledge of ED protocols
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health record system (not required but helpful)
• Proven ability to handle high-acuity patients in a fast-paced ER setting
