Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care for adult medical, surgical, and oncology patients, including palliative care and family education on oncological processes
- Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry, central line draws, ports, blood administration, PCA pumps, and bone marrow aspiration assistance
- Administer chemotherapy (preferred), Pleurx chest tubes, and assist with other complex clinical procedures
- Float within scope to meet facility needs and accommodate blocked schedule requests
- Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, certifications, and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- WV or Compact RN license (pending license acceptable)
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a similar setting
- BLS certification via American Heart Association
- Knowledge of telemetry, central line management, blood administration, and related clinical skills
- Ability to provide references from at least 2 recent managers or charge nurses
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with chemotherapy administration
- PALS and ACLS certifications (via American Heart Association)
- Experience with bone marrow aspiration, Pleurx chest tubes, PCA pumps, and other advanced clinical skills
