Job Title

• Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shift, 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with various diagnoses, including breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, and esophageal cancers, as well as patients receiving antineoplastic chemotherapy
• Monitor telemetry to assess patient cardiac status continuously
• Follow strict infection prevention protocols and implement fall prevention measures
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to manage patient treatments through all phases of their cancer journey, including diagnosis, treatment, and end-of-life care
• Document patient care accurately using computerized charting systems, primarily EPIC
• Adapt to floating assignments across medical-surgical and oncology units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio or compact state nursing license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant RN experience in medical-surgical or oncology settings
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with telemetry interpretation and monitoring

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology certification (preferred but not required)
• Chemotherapy certification (preferred)
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Ability to interpret telemetric data proficiently

• Orientation includes a week of dayshift training followed by 36 hours of on-unit precepted orientation
• Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting immediately after signing the contract and meet travel compliance requirements

• Flexibility for travel or local assignments, with considerations for credentialing timelines
