Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, day shifts, working 4 days per week, 9.5 hours per shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide postoperative care to patients recovering from anesthesia in the PACU.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition, ensuring stability and safety.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician.
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure smooth patient recovery.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee or eligible for licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working in a PACU or similar acute care setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work independently and respond swiftly to patient needs.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
