Registered Nurse Medical Surgical/Tele

Job Title

• Registered Nurse (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry, Charge RN)

• Plainview, TX

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 3x12 hours

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care across Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units, functioning independently with a patient ratio of 1:6
• Assume Charge Nurse responsibilities as needed, managing clinical operations on the unit
• Deliver comprehensive care for a diverse patient population, from infants to end-of-life patients
• Maintain current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Participate in scheduled weekend shifts and optional holiday work, with flexibility for float between units and nearby facilities

Required Qualifications

• Valid state RN license; compact license accepted if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in a hospital setting
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Ability to function independently and assume Charge RN duties
• Willingness to work night shifts and weekends as scheduled

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level IV Trauma Center or similar acute care environment
• Prior experience as a Charge Nurse or leadership role in a hospital setting
