- Travel, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide labor and delivery patient care, including monitoring laboring patients and supporting childbirth processes
- Assist with immediate postpartum care for newborns and mothers
- Circulate and recover C-section patients as part of daily routine
- Perform procedures such as vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, and tub labor
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols, including documentation in systems like CPN and Meditach
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure shared decision-making and optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Valid certifications: AWHONN Intermediate or CEFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP
- Current RN license in the state of Tennessee or multi-state compact license
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with new equipment or advanced technology in Labor and Delivery units
- Familiarity with hospital-specific policies and procedures
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills
