Registered Nurse Endoscopy/GI

Travel - Registered Nurse (RN) Endoscopy
Location: Salem, VA
Schedule / Job Type: Travel, Days shift, 4 shifts per week, 10.5 hours per shift
Duration: 13 weeks, start date: 05/23/2026

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care within the endoscopy department, including admitting patients, circulating, and scrub-in for procedural cases, recovering and discharging patients.
• Utilize Olympus scopes and Provation for procedural documentation.
• Maintain patient safety and ensure smooth workflow in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with a team of approximately 25 staff members, including RNs, scrub techs, and scope room techs.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Comfortable with frequently changing situations.
• No visible piercings; hospital-issued scrubs required.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• PACU or ICU experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with endoscopic procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and bronchoscopy.
• Quick learner with strong multitasking skills.
