Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 10-Hour Shifts | Monday–Friday (40 hours/week, rotating day off) | On-call as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures in a high-volume, fast-paced siloed IR environment handling 60–65 cases per day
• Provide scrub technologist support across 7 procedure rooms managing cases neck-down with some light neuro overflow (e.g., thyroid biopsies)
• Operate Siemens imaging systems including Artis icono, Artis Q, and Artis zee single-plane units
• Support all vascular access and line placements for the facility, including outpatient services
• Float to an additional IR location as needed
• Participate in on-call coverage as required by departmental needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience with scrub experience required
• ARRT Radiography certification (must be in hand at time of start)
• Kansas State Board of Healing Arts licensure (may apply upon offer)
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
• No new graduates accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of interventional radiology experience
• Experience in a large hospital or high-volume IR setting
• Peripheral and neurovascular procedural experience
