Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in delivering patient care and rehabilitation services
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for daily sessions
- Document patient progress and report to supervising therapists
- Support patient mobility and exercise programs
- Ensure adherence to safety and hygiene standards during treatments
Required Qualifications
- Valid State Licensure or Certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Proven experience supporting physical therapy or rehabilitation teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in outpatient or skilled nursing settings
- Knowledge of therapy equipment and modalities
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
