Job Title

• Respiratory Therapist - Travel NICU

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Days, 12-hour shifts, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy care to neonatal and adult patients in a busy NICU setting.
• Operate and monitor ventilators including PB 840 and Dreager vents.
• Assist with deliveries, including surfactant administration.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (Meditech).
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• NICU experience, including Level 3 Neonatal ICU.
• Proficiency with PB 840 and Dreager ventilators.
• Pediatric and adult patient care experience.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts.
• Active Respiratory Therapist certification/license.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with surfactant delivery in neonatal patients.
• Skilled in working with neonatal ventilators and delivering surfactant.
• Team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
