Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education and professional development
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care in the LTAC/Telemetry setting
Required Qualifications
- Active New Mexico RN license or a valid multi-state compact RN license
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in LTAC or a related specialty
- Demonstrated experience with ventilator and tracheostomy management
- Knowledge of central line care and management
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with wound care assessment and management
- Prior travel nursing experience in an LTAC or telemetry environment
