Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts with varied start times, earliest 0600 | On-call required: 8 shifts per month on a rotating basis including weekends and holidays | Weekend work required only when on-call
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical or procedural sedation
- Monitor and assess patient status during the immediate post-operative periodAssist with pre-operative patient preparation and assessment
- Participate in rotating on-call coverage including weekends and holidays
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient transitions
Required Qualifications
- Active Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Minimum 1 year of PACU and Pre-Op experience
- New graduates will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience
