Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and record initial patient assessments, establishing care priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, measurable plans of care in accordance with Nursing Standards of Care.
• Reassess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring clinical intervention, modifying the plan of care as needed.
• Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning.
• Implement and document timely nursing interventions appropriate to patient needs, including Point of Care testing procedures.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with staff, physicians, patients, and families in a manner appropriate to the developmental age of the patient.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state RN license.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the age and type of patient population served.
• Ability to make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of clinical facts and patient outcome evaluations.
• Weekend availability required; floating to additional locations may be required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an acute rehabilitation nursing setting.
• National professional nursing certification relevant to rehabilitation or specialty area.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
