Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care in accordance with the South Dakota Nurse Practice Act, facility policies, and professional standards
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Administer medications, fluids, and respiratory treatments as prescribed; recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient status, interventions, and outcomes
• Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and post-discharge care
• Provide leadership and guidance to assigned staff and assist in the orientation and training of new team members

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Dakota, or eligibility for reciprocity
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Commitment to patient-centered care, infection control, and safety standards

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior acute care or hospital nursing experience
• Experience delegating duties and supporting continuity of care within a team-based environment
