Location
- Wichita, KS
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, travel position
- Night shifts, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 3 shifts per week
- Projected start date: 06/22/2026 (13-week assignment)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized pediatric intensive care to critically ill patients in a Level II Trauma Pediatric ICU
- Perform procedures such as IV starts, blood draws, TPT placements, and CRRT
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a teaching hospital environment
- Monitor patient status using general CR and EMR systems (Meditech / CPN)
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, working efficiently in a high-pressure setting
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital PICU RN experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CRRT experience
- APHON Pediatric Certification or experience
- Prior experience in a teaching hospital environment
