Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights, 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 hours/week | Every other weekend | Rotating holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner within the facility's EMR system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adapt to system transitions and changes in clinical workflows, including upcoming EMR implementation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active and unrestricted Connecticut RN license, or active compact RN license
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with EPIC EMR
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new systems and evolving clinical environments
