Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and provide therapy for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement IEP goals and track student progress
  • Participate in ARD meetings and collaborate with teachers and parents
  • Provide training to school staff on communication strategies
  • Maintain records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Supervise SLP assistants when assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Texas SLP License (TDLR)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) or Clinical Fellow status
  • Knowledge of assessment tools, therapy strategies, and behavior management
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • 1+ year of supervised clinical experience in a school-based or similar setting
  • Experience developing and implementing IEP goals and participating in ARD meetings
  • Familiarity with supervising SLP assistants
