Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations, assessments, and direct services for students with developmental, behavioral, emotional, and/or physical disabilities in school-based and therapeutic settings
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals aligned with student IEPs and educational needs
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions targeting fine motor, sensory regulation, adaptive living, social-emotional, and functional skills
• Conduct sensory and functional assessments to identify barriers to student participation and independence
• Train and support staff on sensory strategies, adaptive equipment, and therapeutic techniques within classroom and school environments
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, treatment notes, and IEP-related materials in compliance with state and school regulations

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapy Licensure
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
• Experience working with children with profound or severe special needs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong collaboration and communication skills with families, educators, and multidisciplinary staff
• Experience working with diverse student populations in school-based settings
• Familiarity with trauma-informed practices and positive behavioral supports
