Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema
• Operate and manage respiratory equipment including oxygen cylinders and concentrators, nebulizers, suction machines, and CPAP/BiPAP machines
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 or 2:1 within a 12-bed unit
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications — all are an absolute must
• Strong critical thinking skills with a patient-care-focused approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit, collaborative team

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience with Meditech EMR strongly preferred
• Stroke education and clinical experience
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
