Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to patients in a hospital setting, including aerosol treatments, BiPAP management, and ventilator management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during daily rounds to optimize patient care
• Operate and monitor advanced ventilators and bedside ABG analyzers
• Perform advanced procedures such as intubation, arterial line insertion, and bedside bronchoscopy assistance as needed
• Document clinical interventions and patient responses using the Meditech system
• Rotate through inpatient units and ICUs, ensuring consistent quality of care across departments

Required Qualifications

• Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
• Minimum 2 years of critical care or emergency care experience
• Proficiency in ventilator management and aerosol therapy procedures
• Ability to perform advanced respiratory procedures and assessments
• Must have current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with modern ventilators (e.g., Puritan Bennet 980, Phillips V60, Seimens EPOC)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Flexibility to rotate across multiple inpatient units and ICU settings
