Full-time, days shifts, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Assist circulating RN with assessment and care of CVL patients, recognizing drugs and lab values that may contraindicate procedures, and communicating findings to appropriate personnel
• Document patient demographics, procedural information, and continuously monitor and relay hemodynamic data, analyzing waveforms accurately
• Support scrub personnel by acquiring equipment, setting up procedural tools, and assisting physicians during procedures while maintaining sterile technique
• Properly dispose of biohazardous materials and contaminated equipment in accordance with safety protocols
• Calculate valve areas and shunts accurately and assist in managing emergency situations by coordinating transfers as per hospital policies
• Assist with medication access and administration on and off the sterile field, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
• Demonstrate proficiency in performing Cath Lab procedures during emergencies in compliance with policies

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Current registration in the state of Kentucky
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• ARRT certification
• Completion of Basic Arrhythmia Course

Preferred Experience / Skills

• One (1) year invasive vascular experience
