Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit within a large acute care hospital setting
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Float as needed to designated units serving the same patient population
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes
• Work rotating day and night shifts, including every other holiday as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – permanent Ohio license or Compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry specialty
• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (travel experience accepted for this requirement)
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting
• Demonstrated ability to float across multiple units while maintaining consistent quality of care
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition assessments and medication safety evaluations
