Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit with a focus on spinal, neurological, and trauma cases
• Monitor and manage patients with complex diagnoses including spinal cord injuries, post-surgical trauma, and mobility impairments
• Accurately document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using the EPIC electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license, verified through Nursys
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical/Surgical nursing specialty
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to provide a complete work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for patients with spinal cord injuries, neurological trauma, or post-gunshot wound care
• Familiarity with care of quadriplegic and paraplegic patient populations
• Completed and up-to-date Medical/Surgical skills checklist
