Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Labor & Delivery unit with 29 beds, 4 ORs, 3 PACU bays, 12 antepartum rooms, and 10 triage rooms
- Support and assist with vaginal and cesarean section deliveries, D&C, hysterectomy, postpartum tubal ligation, cerclage placement, and external cephalic versions
- Monitor and assess high-risk obstetric patients using Centricity and GE fetal monitoring equipment
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN electronic medical record systems
- Maintain a 2:1 patient ratio while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, CSTs, and flex staff
- Function as a self-starter capable of working independently while supporting fellow team members
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Labor & Delivery experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) certification or AWHONN certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- PACU experience
- OR experience in an obstetric or surgical setting
