Registered Nurse – ICU (Intensive Care Unit)

Contract | Evening Shift (3x12 Hours, 15:00–03:00) | Onsite | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting within a short-term acute care facility
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:2–1:3, delivering high-acuity nursing care
• Float between units as needed to support staffing demands across the facility
• Monitor and manage patients with cardiac, neurological, general surgery, and trauma conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required; 2–3 years strongly preferred
• Experience with cardiac and neurological patient populations
• Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under travel compliance guidelines
• Clean background; facility does not accept background or license verification hits

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in general surgery and/or trauma nursing
• Familiarity with Level II Trauma Center environments
• Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated scheduling flexibility
