- Travel Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location
- Denver, CO
Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to obstetric patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and high-risk OB procedures
- Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vitals using Meditech and GE monitors
- Support patient education and post-delivery recovery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year recent acute care hospital experience in Labor and Delivery
- Valid BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) or AWHONN certification
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Colorado or eligible to obtain license
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech EMR system
- PACU or operating room experience
- Experience with high-risk OB patient care
- Skilled in procedures such as cerclage placement, versions, hysterectomy, and tubal ligation
